Full-time Hearing Instrument Specialist in Kitchener

We are looking to expand our award-winning team with an amazing individual! Come work for one of Ontario’s longest-running family-owned hearing health clinics.

Qualifications

• AHIP certified Hearing Instrument Specialist or a licensed Audiologist with CASLPO
• Good knowledge of ADP, WSIB, VAC, and other 3rd party insurances and billing practices
• Cerumen management certification is desired for the position
• A reliable personal vehicle is required for travel to other offices, home visits, and outreach

• Able to create and deliver presentations to the public
• Desire to attract new clients
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Sales experience is an asset
• Enjoys working with a team to achieve an overall goal

Job Duties

• Provide complete patient-focused hearing care, including:
  • Hearing testing
  • Selecting and fitting appropriate hearing aids
  • Adjusting of hearing aids
  • Minor repairs and modifications
  • Ear impressions
  • Cerumen removal
  • Counseling
• Out of office care
• Administrative duties
• Outreach and special events
