Completely-in-the-Canal
hearing instruments
are the smallest
hearing instruments
available today. They
fit deep inside your ear,
where they are hidden in
the shadow of your ear
canal. Mini-Canal are
slightly bigger,
occupying less than one
quarter of the concha. |
In-the-Canal and
Half-Shell hearing
instruments are small
enough to fit almost
entirely in your ear
canal, occupying half
of the concha (the
indented, bowl-like,
outer portion of your
ear), to significantly
reduce their visibility. |
In-the-Ear hearing
instruments are one-piece
hearing aids, customdesigned
to fit within the
concha. Their larger size
means they are more
powerful and can
accomodate more
options. They are also
easier to manage. |
Behind-the-Ear hearing
instruments fit snugly
behind your ear, and
are attached to a
custom earpiece
molded to the shape
of your outer ear. They
may be connected to
external sound sources
such as TVs or infrared
listening systems. |
Life BTE hearing
instruments are the
ultimate in comfort
and discretion. The
ultra thin sound
tube coupled to the
miniature housing
ensure the hearing
instrument is almost
invisible from any
angle. The sound tip is
"open" allowing
maximum ventilation
and unrivaled comfort. |
